Well i have been fighting them for three years now. They are jerks. When Lasalle Bank owned it they in Febuary of 2007 filed to foreclose on my home.In October of 2007 they went under.I have been being my own attorney taking them on.I have gotten 4 sheriff sales stayed.I told the judge how can they foreclose on me when rumors has it that Bank Of America bought my mortage.Lasalle bank were the original ones who filed it so wouldn't Bank Of America have to refile the judge agreed. But i would have to reopen my case. Now i am thinking is it worth it?EMC even offered a payment plan under Obamas plan.It was for me to pay $336 a month for 3 months with no grace period then they would consider a modification.JOKE.Call Me to talk (724)752-9096.Np harrassment or you will be blocked.I need input. Thanks mark

I completely understand all the frustration with EMC. My husband & I had a fixed rate for 5 years then it went adjustable. Well it adjusted so high that we were WAY out of our league. SO after getting a month behind in payments, I called and asked about Obama's making home affordable plan.We started the Process in April. You are required to make 3 consecutive monthly payments ON the due day, then after those condiitons are met, they send you paperwork. Well sort of. We started in April as I mentioned, this is NOVEMBER and we just got our final paperwork last week. it is a done deal. Our loan is now fixed at 4.1 %, and went down by 1100 a month. It is worth the hassle thats for sure.. but you sure do have to jump thru their hoops. I too spoke to 100 different people, and demanded they notate the account each time I called. I had to fax all our proof of income & tax docs several times. Oh let us not forget the current paystubs I faxed in monthly so they can see we are still employed. But it IS worth it if you can hang in there! Best of luck!

I have been working a file for almost a year on a short sale. and offer HIGHER then BPO price. EMC just told me will still sell at auction unless Seller sets up payment arrangements. They do not care if there is offer. If Seller has hardship how do they set up arrangements? This is unethical from EMC abd why was I not told this the last 50 phone calls I have made to EMC?
