Since 03 I now have two foreclosures a judgement, bankruptcy on my credit since I did not want to reinstate for 69,000 dollars on a principal balance of $35,000.00 dollars. My payments on a fixed loan went from $400.00 dollars to $2351.00 monthly. I asked for source document that would support payment increase to no avail. I also sent them copies of my 12 payments that did not transfer with loan in 03 to no avail. Supposively they are in a suspense account. Now I need cash money to payoff my house that I still live in. They won't even modify my loan. Seven years and about 20 attorneys later, I now have till the 29th of January to come up with money or I will be forced out. |

I did not sign and arm loan , after a year or so the loan was sold to EMC and they changed the contract going up on my loan and adding fees . this has been EMC M.O Just ask the federal trade commission. I paid my bills I even lost my wife to cancer during all of this and did not go bankrupt. So take your .50 cents and buy a cup of coffee. |

Written by Home owner, on 03-01-2010 19:53 Hey....here's an idea.....maybe if you read the fine print on your adjustable rate mortgage when you signed the papers you would know the payment is going up. Then, try living with in your income means and actually pay your bills on time and quit whining about unfair practices. Did you complain when you applied ofr the loan that the payment was too low? Too many people "bought" moe house than they could afford...thats why we are all in the economic mess we are in. |
