EMC Mortgage - Put them out of Business

Nothing new. Made my payments and then they opened up an escrow account stating they paid my taxes but I had already paid them. They got their money back but still had me paying escrow. Month after month default letters for only paying my normal payments and multiple calls by me to correct them but with no results. They add on extra charges and fees but all my bank records indicate and EMC confirmation numbers on the payments prove I've never been late. Next year say thing happened again..I payed my taxes and then they paid them and then they got their money returned. Finally got my escrow money returned. Great right! Next week another collection letter saying I still hadn't paid my taxes from the year prior and the account would go into escrow and stay there if I didn't show proof of payment. They already had the proof as I had faxed it to them over a yr ago. To this day they still haven't credited all my payments but tell me over the phone my account is in good standing but I continually receive collection letters and extra fees. I stop paying them in March 08 and will not pay another dime until they provide the services that I'm entitled to and they can have my house. I refuse to be bullied. If everyone stopped paying their mortgages held by EMC, they would be out of business in less than 6 months. EMC can't foreclose on everyone at the same time and the courts can't move that fast when overrun with cases. If they actually were able to foreclose, they wouldn't be able to sell them quick enough to stay in business and you could probably buy back your home for as little as .30 cents on the dollar. Think about that....LETS PUT EMC OUT OF BUSINESS. People power!

To charles from Texas; We have stopped paying for our house held by EMC don't know how much longer we have to stay in it.

I also agree with all of you we have been trying to do a loan mod. on our house for over a yearn now they keep telling me to send 3 consecutive payments by the 16th and fill out the paper work and they will drop our payment. I have sent it in three time now and still nothing. I also say they can have my house back it's not worth the fight anymore.

Just wondering what the updates are for all you people. We're having a time here also with EMC. I have to come up with $4500 this Friday or they will foreclose on our home. Does anyone have a lawyer they are using to fight EMC? Is there a class action deal I need to be involved with?
